When we began this journey, we were both overweight and out of shape. I saw pictures our daughter posted on Facebook and was horrified. When I shared that with Deb, I found out that she had the same reaction when she saw her picture. It was a call to action, so we embarked on a journey to not go on a diet, but to change our diet. To that end, we took several steps:
- No more eating out of the vending machine at work!
- Reduce dining out, especially fast food.
- Eliminate, as much as possible, processed foods.
- Eat fewer carbs, add fruits and vegetables in their place.
On this page, we will share recipes, dietary philosophy, and how a few simple seasonings and some creativity can make meals tasty, beautiful, and interesting.
